17 medical universities of the Ministry of Health of Russia entered the top 20 best in the country according to the RAEX rating.

The rating assessed universities by the quality of education, scientific activity, and contribution to society, based on data from the Ministry of Education and Science, publication activity, and mentions in the media and social networks.

Among the participants in the field of medicine, ROSTOV STATE MEDICAL UNIVERSITY got (13th place) and 53,46 points.

1. RostSMU is the 7th oldest Medical Government University in Russia.

3. The Rostov State Medical University has been training specialists for foreign countries since 1961.

Admission Procedure

Rostov state medical university admission: One intake in a year for all faculties, i.e June 20 to October 10. (For Russian Medium Faculties only from June 20 - July 22)

Accommodation Student Life

There are 5 hostels, which can accommodate more than 2000 students. All the hostels are flat type i.e. with attached bathroom, toilet, and kitchen. The hostels are centrally heated.
